Running with Purpose: RBC Race for the Kids 2025

What a morning! On Sunday, April 27th, more than 700 enthusiastic participants gathered at the starting line for the RBC Race for the Kids 5K Walk/Run—and this year, it was extra special.

For the first time ever, one2one Cayman was the sole beneficiary of this incredible event, and the outpouring of support from the community was nothing short of inspiring.

More Than a Race

From the moment the sun rose, the energy was electric. Families, friends, co-workers, and even a few four-legged companions laced up their sneakers for a good cause. The race itself was just the beginning. After crossing the finish line, participants were treated to a lively morning filled with Zumba, music, fun activities, and joyful fellowship that kept spirits high.

It wasn’t just about the miles; it was about making every step count for Cayman’s youth.

A Community United

The sight of over 700 people of all ages and backgrounds gathering in support of one2one’s mission was deeply moving. From children skipping alongside parents, to runners proudly wearing our logo, to pets wagging their tails through the course, the event truly reflected the inclusive, connected spirit of our community.

Why It Matters

The funds and awareness raised through this event go directly toward supporting one2one’s mentoring programs, which provide life-changing guidance and support for children, teens, and young adults across the Cayman Islands. Every registration, every donation, every cheer helped strengthen our ability to match mentors with mentees—and to grow the impact of our work.

Thank You

We extend our heartfelt thanks to RBC, the event organizers, volunteers, and every single participant who came out to walk, run, dance, and celebrate with us. Your presence made this event more than a fundraiser... it became a powerful statement of belief in the potential of our youth.

We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together next year!
